I'm Candice, your new tell-it-like-it-is BFF (and purpose cheerleader).
I wasn’t always a wedding planner—or even an entrepreneur. My journey started unexpectedly, sick on the couch recovering from an surgery, flipping through channels. That’s when I stumbled upon a show called Whose Wedding Is It Anyway? and felt the first spark of something life-changing.
At the time, I was 26, stuck in a corporate job I hated, with an unfinished degree in Art History and zero experience in weddings. But that moment lit a fire in my belly. By the next day, I was surrounded by every bridal magazine I could find, obsessing over how to turn this newfound passion into a career.
Fast forward to 2007, when I launched my wedding planning and design business, Jubilee Events, with nothing but big dreams, determination, and the glossy pages of BRIDES magazine as my guide. Within two years, I had built a six-figure business, working with high-end clients and planning events around the globe—from New York City to Paris, Fiji to Costa Rica.
I built my wedding planning and design business, Jubilee Events, from zero to six-figures in the first 2 years.
MEET YOUR NEW BUSINESS BFF
But it wasn’t always easy. I faced the same fears, doubts, and challenges you might be feeling right now. With no contacts, no experience, and none of the resources available today, I had to figure it out as I went along.
And through it all, I learned what it truly takes to build a successful, profitable business in the wedding industry.
Over the years, I’ve experienced the joy of working with incredible clients, producing events worth over $1 million, and building a business that gave me the freedom to live life on my own terms. In 2019, I sold my business and shifted my focus to helping aspiring wedding planners like you turn their passion into a thriving career.
I know where you are because I’ve been there too—starting with nothing but a dream and the determination to make it happen. Now, my mission is to help you build a business that brings you joy, success, and purpose.
Imagine getting paid to plan dreamy weddings for others. It’s closer than you think.
